NLSDays, the premier Nordic life science event, is returning to Malmö, Sweden, on September 18-19. The international conference is set to draw a diverse group of investors, pharmaceutical companies, and life science leaders from the Nordics and beyond, highlighting the region’s role as a global life science hub.
Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) will this year be held in Malmö, Sweden, on September 18-19, once again welcoming industry delegates, exhibitors, presenters, and investors from across the Nordics and the world.
“The Nordic region has truly become a global hotspot for life sciences, and the significant growth of this event has sparked numerous collaborations and acquisitions. We take pride in fostering stronger connections within the Nordic countries while also opening the region to international opportunities,” says Jessica Martinsson, CEO of SwedenBIO, the industry association that owns and organizes NLSDays.
Since its inception in 2013, NLSDays has steadily expanded, attracting a diverse range of actors from all parts of the life science ecosystem, both from the Nordics and beyond, who are eager to engage with the region’s vibrant life science industry.
“The Nordic life science industry is experiencing rapid growth, making it clear that we need a dedicated space to connect and showcase Nordic companies to international investors and pharmaceutical giants. NLSDays offers just that, and the high number of returning and new delegates each year is a testament to the event’s ongoing success,” says Marjo Puumalainen, Program Manager of NLSDays.
Key highlights of the conference include:
• Five super sessions on the latest trends in life science, featuring panels of seasoned experts and moderators.
• The Nordic Star Pitch Competition, where 20 up-and-coming Nordic SMEs will pitch to investors and compete for a prize.
• Lunch workshops and company presentations.
• A poster session showcasing academic projects with commercial potential.
• A sold-out exhibition area, including country and regional pavilions.
• Regional and country presentations from Göteborg, Skåne, the Netherlands and France.
