Another record year for NLSDays – the premier Nordic Life Science event

With two weeks to go, Nordic Life Science Days is on track for yet another record-breaking year. 

 Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Copenhagen on November 29-30, opening the doors to industry delegates, exhibitors, presenters, and investors from across the Nordics and the world. We are pleased to welcome you to the first-ever edition of the conference hosted in Denmark! 

 ”The Nordic region has developed into a true hotspot for life science and the strong expansion of this event has been a catalyst for several collaborations and acquisitions. We are proud to both enable stronger connections between the Nordic countries as well as to open the region’s doors to the world,” says Jessica Martinsson, the CEO of SwedenBIO, the industry association which owns and arranges NLSDays.  

 Current figures show that this year’s conference will gather more exhibitors, more sponsors, and more delegates active in partnering than ever before, setting the scene for yet another record-breaking year.  

“For the past decade, NLSDays has supported innovation and business partnerships, showcasing to the rest of the world what the Nordic countries have to offer in the life science sector,” Olivier Duchamp-Giudicelli says, the managing director of NLSDays who has organized the conference since its inception. 

“That we choose to host NLSDays in Denmark for the first time at the event’s tenth anniversary is a sign of what a true Nordic affair NLSDays is. Our ambition is to create an inclusive conference to encourage all Nordic countries to participate, partner and feel comfortable, and to create a place where the Nordics connect with the global life science community,” he says.  

 Some of the highlights of the conference include: 

• Six super sessions on the latest trends in life science, featuring panels of seasoned experts and moderators. 

• The Nordic Stars Pitch Competition, welcoming 30 up-and-coming Nordic SMEs to the stage where they will pitch investors and vie for two attractive prize packages.  

• Fireside chats, lunch workshops, company presentations, and NLSDays’ first-ever poster session showcasing academic projects with commercial potential. 

• The BIO One-on-One partnering system – through which 3,100 face-to-face meetings were booked during NLSDays 2022, with a higher number expected this year. We attract a high number of investors each year. 

• A vibrant exhibition area, including country and regional pavilions hosted by Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, France, Germany, Flanders – Belgium, Alabama – USA, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
